The School's Athletic Association coordinates our sports program. All
parents of student athletes are encouraged to become involved in our
Athletic Association.
Saint Rose of Lima School operates a wide variety of athletic teams which are funded by the Athletic Association through fundraisers. The total cost of providing athletic programs for our youth exceeds $5,000 annually and is funded solely by the fund-raisers held and the generous support of the friends and families of our students.
Football, basketball, and volleyball are provided for boys in Grades 4 - 8. Baseball is available for boys in grade 8 and Ice Hockey for boys in grades 7 - 8. Basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball are provided for girls in Grades 4 - 8.
Any individual interested in coaching MUST participate in the "Protect Our Children" Diocesan Program. Additional information is available online at: VIRTUS Online or by calling the School Office, 814.942.7835.
ALL VOLUNTEERS who would like to join the children of Saint Rose at parties, field trips, special events, lunchroom duty, etc., MUST HAVE A CURRENT Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and Criminal Background Check Clearance and also attend a Diocesan sponsored "Virtus - Protecting God's Children" Program. Volunteers are a vital part to the continued growth and development of the Athletics Association, here at Saint Rose of Lima, School; without which, our children would not be able to fully appreciate life's blessings.
We encourage you to become a part of our team, further fostering a Christian atmosphere by generously giving of your time and talent.
