Volunteers are a vital part to the working environment here at Saint Rose of Lima, School. Thank you to those who give selflessly of their time and talent; without your continued generosity, we could not offer all that we do.
Here at Saint Rose our children's safety and well being is a top priority.
All volunteers who would like to join the children of Saint Rose at parties, field trips, special events, lunchroom duty, etc., must be current with "Virtus - Protecting God's Children" « Program. Cafeteria
We want to emphasis to everyone that we need several volunteers in the cafeteria, especially in the lower grades to help the children with straws, opening milk, and other items, to clean up spills, and keep everything organized.
Those whose children stay for lunch are required to help in the lunchroom one day per month.
Without volunteers in the kitchen to work the serving line and to give out milk, one person has to do many jobs, which slows down the lunch line, giving students less time to eat their lunch. If you are unable to schedule a regular day every month on the schedule, we are asking you to consider being on a call-in list when we do not have someone coming in on a certain day. As always, if you are scheduled and cannot make it in, please try to get a substitute or call the cafeteria to let us know. Currently, we do not have any listings on the call-in list.
